Abstract:
Provided are a method for producing alkane and a recombinant microorganism which offer excellent alkane production performance in a reaction system for synthesizing alkane by alkane synthase activity. The present invention considerably improves alkane production performance in the presence of a ferredoxin within a system for synthesizing alkane using alkane synthase. That is, this method for producing alkane is for synthesizing alkane using alkane synthase in the presence of a ferredoxin.
