Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing an amplification product of a target nucleic acid on the basis of a novel principle. This method for producing an amplification product of a target nucleic acid is provided with an amplification step for carrying out a nucleic acid amplification reaction on a test sample that may contain the target nucleic acid using a first primer, a second primer, and a nucleic acid polymerase having strand displacement activity. The amplification step is a step for using two or more oligonucleotides capable of promoting dissociation of the double strand of the target nucleic acid.
