Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing an anti-contact fatigue hypereutectoid steel rail. The method comprises performing molten iron desulfurization, converter smelting, LF refining, RH refining, continuous casting, steel billet heating, rolling and post-rolling heat treatment to obtain a steel rail; performing post-rolling heat treatment comprises performing accelerated cooling and air cooling on the tread center of a railhead, two sides of the railhead and the center portion of a rail bottom of the steel rail obtained after rolling, the starting cooling temperature of accelerated cooling being 650-900°C, the cooling speed being 1.0-5.0°C/s, and the final cooling temperature being 400-550°C; and accelerated cooling is stopped after reaching the final cooling temperature, then air cooling to room temperature. By using the total mass of the steel rail as reference, the chemical components of the steel rail comprise 0.9 mass%-1.2 mass% of C. In the hypereutectoid steel rail manufactured by the method for producing an anti-contact fatigue hypereutectoid steel rail in the present invention, the tread hardness is larger than 420 HB, the abrasion loss of the steel rail in the laboratory is less than 0.2 g, and the contact fatigue performance is increased by 20%. The hypereutectoid steel rail has high purity, improved anti-contact fatigue performance and excellent wear resistance.
