Abstract:
The present disclosure provides, for example, a method for producing 2-(4-cyclopropyl-2-fluoroanilino)-3,4-difluoro-5-[[3-fluoro-2-(methylsulfamoylamino)pyridin-4-yl]methyl]benzamide or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, or a pharmacologically acceptable solvate of the compound or a salt, the method comprising a step for reacting (2-amino-3-fluoropyridin-4-yl)methanol with methyl chloroformate and N,N-dimethylaminopyridine in acetonitrile to obtain (2-amino-3-fluoropyridin-4-yl)methylmethyl carbonate. According to the present disclosure, provided is a method which is for producing a specific arylamide derivative that has RAF/MEK complex stabilizing activity and/or MEK inhibitory activity and is useful for treating or preventing cell proliferative diseases, in particular, cancer, and by which an arylamide derivative can be obtained with a small number of steps.
