Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a bicyclomonoterpene (meth)acrylate characterized in that a bicyclomonoterpene and a (meth)acrylic acid compound are reacted in the presence of at least one halogen atom-containing sulfonic acid compound selected from the group consisting of halogen atom-containing sulfonic acids and anhydrides thereof. According to this method, it is possible to produce a bicyclomonoterpene (meth)acrylate efficiently and by a simple procedure without requiring a step for hydrogenation by hydrogen gas, which is complex and requires a long period of time.
