Abstract:
This method for producing a brazing sheet comprises: a stacking step for producing a clad lump that is obtained by stacking a plurality of aluminum lumps, each of which comprises a core material lump and a brazing filler material lump that is arranged on at least one surface of the core material lump, wherein, among the plurality of aluminum lumps, at least one aluminum lump that is arranged between the core material lump and the brazing filler material lump contains a metal element that is more likely to be oxidized than Al; a hot rolling step for producing a clad plate by subjecting the clad lump to hot rolling; a cold rolling step for subjecting the clad plate to cold rolling; and an etching step for etching the surface of the clad plate with use of an alkaline etching liquid, which has an NaOH concentration of from 0.05% by mass to 1.0% by mass, between passes of cold rolling in the cold rolling step or after completion of the cold rolling step.
