Abstract:
A method for producing a compound represented by formula (1), which comprises a step A wherein a compound represented by formula (2a) and a compound represented by formula (2b) are subjected to a coupling reaction in the presence of (1) a metal catalyst and (2) one or more reducing agents that are selected from the group consisting of (a) fourth row transition metal elements, (b) group 12 metal elements, (c) group 13 metal elements, (d) organic reducing agents and (e) carbon monoxide.
(In formula (1), R1a, R1b, R2a, R2b, R3a and R3b may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, an alkyl group, a fluoroalkyl group or an aryl group, provided that at least one of the R1a, R1b, R2a, R2b, R3a and R3b moieties represents a fluorine atom or a fluoroalkyl group, or alternatively, one or more moieties among R1a-C-R2a moiety, R1b-C-R2b moiety, R1a-C=C-R3a moiety and R1b-C=C-R3b moiety may be the same or different and each represents a non-aromatic carbocyclic ring which may be substituted by one or more fluorine atoms; and each single bond expressed by a wavy line shows that the configuration thereof with respect to the double bond to which the single bond is bonded is the E configuration, the Z configuration or a mixture of the E configuration and the Z configuration at an arbitrary ratio.)
