Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a carbide for reinforcing a rubber article capable of effectively utilizing a polymeric waste. The method is characterized by comprising a step of mixing a carbide (A) obtained by the thermal decomposition or incomplete combustion of a polymeric waste and transformed into a powder by grinding with carbon black (B), thereby obtaining a mixture of the carbide (A) and the carbon black (B) and a step of granulating the mixture using a granulating machine at a rotation speed of 70 to 130 rpm.
