Abstract:
Provided as a method for raising the productivity of CNT arrays produced by a gas-phase catalytic method is a production method provided with: a first step for causing a substrate to be present in an atmosphere containing a gas-phase catalyst; and a second step for causing a raw material gas and carbon monoxide to be present in the atmosphere containing the gas-phase catalyst, thereby causing a plurality of carbon nanotubes to grow on a base surface of the substrate, and obtaining a carbon nanotube array comprising a plurality of carbon nanotubes on the base surface.
