Abstract:
A method for producing a carbonyl compound by means of a flow reaction, wherein: a triphosgene solution is introduced into a flow path (I); the triphosgene solution comes into contact with a solid catalyst, which is affixed to at least a part within the flow path (I), while flowing in the flow path (I), thereby producing a phosgene solution; and the phosgene solution is merged with an active hydrogen-containing compound solution, which flows in a flow path (II), so that the solutions are reacted with each other in the presence of a tertiary amine, while flowing down the stream within a reaction flow path, thereby obtaining a carbonyl compound in the merged solution. A flow reaction system which is suitable for performing this production method.
