Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a cathode slurry for a lithium secondary battery, the method comprising the steps of: adding a cathode active material, a conductive material, a binder polymer, and a dispersant to a solvent and mixing the same to obtain a slurry containing 69 to 74 % by mass of solid contents; primarily dispersing the slurry for 50 to 100 minutes such that the transfer rate of the solid contents in the slurry ranges from 3 to 6 m/s; and secondarily dispersing the primarily dispersed slurry for 5 to 20 minutes such that the transfer rate of the solid contents in the slurry ranges from 14 to 27 m/s, wherein the transfer rate of the solid contents denotes the distance measured over each time interval, by which the solid contents transfer due to a force applied to the slurry in a dispersion device used to disperse the slurry.
