Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a cellulose acylate optical film having no yellowness and no dieline which is characterized in that at least one metal deactivation agent is added to a cellulose acylate satisfying the substitution degrees expressed by the formulae (1)-(3) below and then the cellulose acylate is melt-processed into a film. Formula (1): 2.4 ≤ A + B < 3.0 Formula (2): 0 ≤ A ≤ 2.4 Formula (3): 0.3 ≤ B < 3 (In the formulae (1)-(3), A represents the substitution degree of an acetyl group and B represents the sum of substitution degrees of an acyl group having 3-7 carbon atoms.)
