Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING CELLULOSE-CONTAINING SOLID MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING GLUCOSE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/199924
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The method according to the present invention for producing a cellulose-containing solid material comprises: in a solvent mixture of water with at least one kind of alcohol selected from among aliphatic alcohols having 4-8 carbon atoms, treating a plant biomass under condition A (wherein the feeding concentration of the starting material is 1-50 mass% inclusive relative to the solvent), condition B (wherein the reaction temperature is 100-350oC inclusive), and condition C (wherein the reaction time is 0.1-10 h inclusive); and, after the completion of the treatment, obtaining a cellulose-containing solid material by solid-liquid separation. Thus, a method for producing a cellulose-containing solid material, whereby a cellulose-containing solid material having excellent saccharification properties can be obtained, and a method for producing glucose, whereby glucose can be obtained from the cellulose-containing solid material, can be provided.
