Abstract:
A method for producing a cellulose derivative, said method being characterized in that a mixed acid anhydride containing specific two types of acyl groups is reacted with cellulose in the presence of a basic catalyst in an organic solvent having an electron pair donating property to form a cellulose derivative in which the two types of acyl groups derived from the mixed acid anhydride are introduced into hydroxy groups in the cellulose.
