Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a simple method for producing a coated medical device that has the property of suppressing bacterial adhesion in addition to having properties such as adequate hydrophilicity. The present invention provides a method for producing a coated medical device, said method comprising (A) a contact step in which a medical device is stored in a container and the medical device and a solution a including a hydrophilic polymer A are brought into contact with each other, and (C) a heating step in which the container is heated, wherein the hydrophilic polymer A includes, as a monomeric unit, a compound having a quaternary ammonium cation group, and the pH of the solution a after the heating step is 6.1 to 8.0.
