Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a production method that makes it possible to obtain combined filament yarn and a woven fabric or knitted fabric that make it possible to produce a fiber-reinforced resin molded article exhibiting excellent strength and having a given shape. [Solution] A method for producing a combined filament yarn according to the present invention, the combined filament yarn being formed from at least thermoplastic resin fibers and reinforcing fibers, comprises a step in which the thermoplastic resin fibers are combined with the reinforcing fibers in the presence of a liquid by a fluid entangling method using a gas. A combined filament yarn according to the present invention is formed from at least thermoplastic resin fibers and reinforcing fibers, and comprises at least two types of organic substance, which are attached to both the reinforcing fibers and the thermoplastic resin fibers. A method for producing a woven fabric or knitted fabric according to the present invention, the woven fabric or knitted fabric being formed from at least thermoplastic resin fibers and reinforcing fibers, wherein the content ratio of the reinforcing fibers in the reinforcing fiber weaving step or knitting step is 0.1-5 mass%.
