Abstract:
A method for producing a complex metal oxide, wherein a composition containing an alkali metal is disposed on a stage, a part of which that comes into contact with the composition is formed of a metal oxide component, and fired when a complex metal oxide is obtained by firing the composition. This method for producing a complex metal oxide is characterized in that the content of K atoms in the metal oxide component is 5-13 parts by weight in terms of K2O per 100 parts by weight of the metal oxide component and the total content of Al atoms, Zr atoms, Mg atoms and Ce atoms is 15-70 parts by weight in terms of oxides per 100 parts by weight of the metal oxide component.
The present invention is able to provide a method for producing a complex metal oxide containing an alkali metal, said method being capable of reducing the production cost.
