Abstract:
A method for producing a compound, which comprises a reaction step wherein a fluidized bed reactor that comprises an internal space in which a catalyst is contained in a flowable manner, a first supply port through which a starting material gas containing hydrocarbon is supplied to the fluidized bed reactor, a second supply port through which an oxygen-containing gas containing oxygen is supplied to the fluidized bed reactor, and a discharge port through which a reaction product gas is discharged from the fluidized bed reactor is used, and the hydrocarbon is subjected to a vapor-phase catalytic oxidation reaction or a vapor-phase catalytic ammoxidation in the presence of the catalyst within the internal space, so that a corresponding unsaturated acid or unsaturated nitrile is produced. In the reaction step, the linear velocity (m/sec) of the starting material gas at the first supply port is adjusted so as to satisfy a specific relationship with respect to the degree of wear resistance (%) of the catalyst.
