Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a conjugated diolefin by subjecting a monoolefin having four or more carbon atoms to a gas-phase contact oxidative dehydrogenation reaction in the presence of a catalyst, wherein the degradation of the catalyst is minimized and the long-term stability is excellent. Specifically provided is a method for producing a conjugated diolefin by subjecting a monoolefin having four or more carbon atoms to a gas-phase contact oxidative dehydrogenation reaction in the presence of a catalyst for conjugated diolefin production, said method being characterized by the use of a catalyst which has an active component having the composition expressed in formula 1 prior to use, which is recovered after use, and which has an average pore diameter of 0.19μm or greater after recovery.
