Abstract:
The invention relates to the chemical production of the inorganic materials, in particular to the production of filament from alumosilicate rocks. The inventive method for producing continuous alumosilicate filament consists in melting basalt-containing rock in the melting zone of a bath-type furnace, bubbling, degasing, homogenising melt and supplying it from a feeder to a stream feeder and forming a filament. Said method is characterised in that said bubbling is carried out by supplying an oxygen-containing gaseous agent through nozzles arranged in the bottom part of the melting zone, the quantity of said agent being defined according to the following formula: ¿ ?V¿ O2? [A(C ¿Fe??+2¿¿ ?/C¿Fe ??+3¿) +kP]*M, A = a non-dimensional empirical coefficient characterising the content of metallic impurities in the rock melt ranging from 0.01 to 0.5; V ¿O2 ?= the volume of supplied¿ ?oxygen-containing gaseous agent; C ¿Fe??+2¿ = the mass concentration of ¿Fe??+2 ¿in the rock melt expresses in mass percentage; C¿Fe??+3¿ = the mass concentration of ¿Fe??+3 ¿in the rock melt expresses in mass percentage; k = a non-dimensional oxygen loss ratio ranging from 0.1 to 1.0; P = the specific flow rate of the oxygen-containing gaseous agent ranging from 0.15 to 1.1 m ?3¿/kg; M =the mass of the melt in the volume of the melting furnace in kg, the melting is carried out at a specific speed of melt bleeding ranging from 0.5 to 5.0 kg/min Said method for producing a continuous alumosilicate filament makes it possible to increase by two times the service life of molybdenum electrodes and platinum stream feeders.
