Abstract:
The present invention provides: a method for producing a crimped sheet, the method suppressing separation offset that occurs when a crimped postcard is opened, while using an image forming apparatus that is capable of performing a printing process and a crimping process in a single sequence; and an image forming apparatus. The present invention provides a method for producing a crimped sheet wherein sheets are crimped together in a separable manner, the method being characterized by comprising: a step in which a composite layer is formed on a sheet, the composite layer having been obtained by superposing, as a surface layer, a bonding layer that is formed using a powder adhesive on a toner image that is formed using a toner for printing; a fixation step in which the composite layer formed on the sheet is fixed to the sheet by heating; a step in which a region of the sheet on which the composite layer is fixed, and another region of the same sheet on which another composite layer is fixed, or a region of a different sheet on which another composite layer is fixed are superposed upon each other in such a manner that the regions face each other; and a crimping step in which the superposed sheets are crimped together, while applying pressure thereto under heat. This method for producing a crimped sheet is also characterized in that the difference between the solubility parameters (SP values) of the toner for printing and the powder adhesive is 1.0 (cal/cm3)1/2 or more.
