Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING CRYSTALLINE IRON ARSENATE STARTING MATERIAL LIQUID FROM SMOKE AND ASH
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/132729
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a crystalline iron arsenate starting material liquid that can efficiently separate copper and arsenic from smoke and ash generated by nonferrous smelting and can provide an arsenic solution that substantially does not contain Na and K. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a crystalline iron arsenate starting material liquid from smoke and ash having a leaching step for forming a slurry of ash and smoke containing copper and arsenic, setting the pH value of this slurry in a range of 3 - 4, leaching the copper into the liquid of this slurry, and making the arsenic a residue, and, prior to this leaching step in a treatment method for obtaining an arsenic solution from this residue, a step for preliminary leaching by maintaining the slurry pH value at 2 or less.
