Abstract:
A method for producing a cutting tool tip includes a molding step for obtaining a molded article having a corner portion that serves as a blade portion by injecting a raw material into a mold, and a heat-treatment step for obtaining a tip by heating the molded article. The mold includes a plurality of segmented molds, and the inside surface of the mold is provided with a recess that recedes toward the boundary of the plurality of segmented molds. In the molding step, the molded article is molded so that at least part of the corner portion that serves as a blade portion of the molded article is positioned within the recess.
