Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing decorative fabrics and consists in preparing a pattern and in sewing. Said pattern is produced by gluing material inserts and/or threads to a base, said inserts and threads matching a given design. The base of the pattern is made of material easily dissolved in water, for example paper, cellulose and newspaper. The fabric inserts are made of fabrics having various structures, threads and roots of plants. The thus prepared pattern is reinforced by stitching it in different directions by means of a sewing machine, thereby forming a net-like fabric. The produced fabric is held in water at a temperature ranging from 30 to 90 °C during 20-40 minutes, washed with running water at a temperature ranging from 20 to 40 °C, dried, treated with steam and ironed. In the preferred embodiment, the holding temperature ranges from 65 to 75 °C. The fabric produced by the inventive method can be widely used for outwear and underwear, for interior decoration, curtains, tapestry, upholstery material etc.
