Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing a spheroidal graphite cast iron containing spheroidized graphite at a quantity of 3000 per mm2 or more in an as-cast state. Provided is a method for producing a die-cast product of an ultrafine spheroidal graphite cast iron that has a melting step in which an original melt is obtained by heating and melting a raw material comprising cast iron, a spheroidization step in which spheroidization is carried out, an inoculation step in which inoculation is carried out, and a casting step in which the melt is cast into a die, wherein the method is characterized in that the quantity of nitrogen is regulated so that the quantity of nitrogen generated when melting the die-cast product is 0.9 ppm (by mass) or less.
