Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing diol. A fermented culture medium comprising diol is produced. A pre-treated solution, which is the fermented culture medium from which impurities have been removed by successive electrodialysis and ion exchange treatments, is produced. Diol is obtained by purifying the pre-treated solution.
