Abstract:

A method for producing elastic sheets, which ensures uniformity in the shape, such as width and thickness, and the strength of a stretched non-woven fabric, is provided. This method for producing elastic sheets includes: steps (3, 4) for stretching a non-woven fabric (7) in the width direction, which is orthogonal to the machine direction of the non-woven fabric (7) which is to be transferred; and steps (5, 6) for compressing the non-woven fabric (7), which was stretched in the steps (3, 4) for stretching the non-woven fabric (7), in the thickness direction of the non-woven fabric (7).
