Abstract:
A method for producing an electrode material, wherein particles containing Cr are miniaturized and uniformly dispersed and Cu portions, which serve as a highly conductive component, are also miniaturized and uniformly dispersed. This method for producing an electrode material comprises: a mixing step for mixing a heat-resistant element powder and a Cr powder (S1); a calcination step for obtaining a solid solution of the heat-resistant element and Cr by calcining the mixed powder (S2); a pulverization step for obtaining a solid solution powder of the heat-resistant element and Cr by pulverizing the solid solution of the heat-resistant element and Cr (S3); a molding step for molding the solid solution powder (S4); a main sintering step for obtaining a sintered body (skeleton) of the heat-resistant element and Cr by subjecting the thus-obtained molded body to main sintering (S5); and a Cu infiltration step for infiltrating the sintered body of the heat-resistant element and Cr with Cu (S6).
