Abstract:
The present invention is a method for producing an electrode for a secondary battery that comprises an electrode laminate having a configuration wherein a plurality of electrodes and a separator are laminated. An electrode, which is provided with a coated part wherein an active material layer (2) is formed on a collector (3) and an uncoated part wherein the active material layer (2) is not formed on the collector (3), is provided with an insulating member on a boundary portion (4) between the coated part and the uncoated part by having an insulating solution (40a) containing a solid insulating material adhere to the boundary portion (4) and solidifying the insulating solution thereon.
