Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing an electrode substrate (1) which comprises, on a base (10) made of a glass having a strain point not less than 520˚C, a metal wiring layer (12) and an insulating layer (14) covering the metal wiring layer (12) and made of a low melting point glass. This method comprises at least a step for applying a paste as the base material of the low melting point glass over the metal wiring layer (12), and a step for forming the insulating layer (14) by sintering the paste through a heat treatment. By this method, there can be obtained an electrode substrate with low resistance wherein the metal wiring is surely shielded, and a photoelectric converter suitably used for a solar cell.
