Abstract:
Provided is an electrode production method that is applicable to, for example, substrates with low heat resistance and can be suitably employed for electrodes in TFTs and the like, and wherein the amount of organic residues is small so as not to inhibit electroconductivity even when the firing temperature is low. This method for producing an electrode comprises: a first step for forming a pre-firing film by printing or applying an electroconductive ink that includes metal nanoparticles as a main component; a second step for forming an electroconductive film by firing the pre-firing film; and a third step for bringing an acidic solution into contact with at least a portion of the electroconductive film to clean the same.
