Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a highly reliable electronic device substrate with a scattering layer, said electronic device substrate having an improved light-extraction efficiency and being able to be produced easily.
The method comprises: a step wherein a molten glass is produced by heating and melting a glass starting material or a glass; a forming step wherein a continuous glass ribbon (6) is formed by continuously supplying the molten glass to the bath surface of a molten metal vessel containing a molten metal; a step wherein a scattering layer is formed by supplying a glass powder (M) that has a desired composition on the continuous glass ribbon (6) and melting or sintering the glass powder (M); a step wherein the continuous glass ribbon with the scattering layer is slowly cooled; and a step wherein the slowly cooled continuous glass ribbon with the scattering layer is cut into a glass substrate with a scattering layer.
