Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising: a first step in which a conductive substrate material containing aluminum or an aluminum alloy is immersed in alkaline ionized water and taken out from the alkaline ionized water to form a conductive substrate; and a second step in which a coating solution for a photosensitive layer is applied onto the conductive substrate to form a coating film and at least a portion of a solvent in the coating film is removed to form a photosensitive layer, wherein the immersion time in the alkaline ionized water is 20-120 seconds, the pH of the alkaline ionized water is 9-12, and the coating solution for a photosensitive layer contains a compound represented by general formula (1) as an electron transport agent, a binder resin having a terminal group represented by the general formula (2), and a solvent.
