Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING ETHER COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/118717
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an ether compound at low cost and with high yield, the method being simple and having a reduced number of production steps. The present invention relates to producing, in a simple manner and with a reduced number of steps, the ether compound represented by formula (1) by reacting a specific carbonyl compound represented by formula (2) and a specific dialkoxy compound represented by formula (3) with hydrogen under the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst and an acidic substance for hydrogenation. (2) (3) (1)
