Abstract:
Provided is a method of producing, by means of a simple drying operation, high-purity ferric citrate which retains a high specific surface area while having a reduced water soluble organic solvent content. This method of producing ferric citrate is characterized in that a wet body of ferric citrate comprising ferric citrate and a water soluble organic solvent is dried in contact with a gas containing water, the water soluble organic solvent content being in a range of over 0.3 mass% to at most 30.0 mass%.
