Abstract:
Provided is a method developed for producing fiber bundles with high efficiency in terms of spun fiber collection and without causing mechanical damage to the foothold fibers spun by a bagworm moth upon a substrate. After a bagworm moth is set in position along with a solvent-soluble substrate and caused to spin foothold fibers upon the substrate surface, the substrate is dissolved with a solvent to separate the foothold fibers therefrom.
