Abstract:
The present invention provides a useful improvement which relates to a method for producing a fiber-reinforced resin article that at least partially has a hollow structure part. A method for producing a fiber-reinforced resin article according to the present invention comprises: a molding step in which a prepreg preform that is provided with a core-containing part, within which a fusible core that is formed of a wax material is arranged, is arranged in a press mold and heated, thereby obtaining a cured product that has a hollow structure part; and a core removal step in which the fusible core is removed from the cured product. The prepreg preform is provided with a through hole in the core-containing part; and an elastomer plug is inserted into the through hole.
