Abstract:
This method for producing a filter comprises: a relation deriving step wherein a relation between the concentration of the organic solvent contained in a catalyst slurry/the organic solvent in an aqueous medium and the amount of catalyst supported by a filter medium when the catalyst slurry is applied to the filter medium is derived with respect to each filter medium; a concentration determination step wherein the concentration of the organic solvent is determined from the target amount to be supported by each filter medium on the basis of the relation derived in the relation deriving step; a slurry production step wherein a catalyst slurry, which has an organic solvent concentration that is not less than the concentration of the organic solvent determined in the concentration determination step, is produced; and a slurry application step wherein the catalyst slurry produced in the slurry production step is applied to the filter medium.
