Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing flexible brush parts, wherein parallel bristles (1) are conveyed in the form of a layer of substantially uniform thickness and density between two revolving conveyor belts (3). The ends of the bristles are joined to each other by means of a melting process to prevent a maximum number of bristles from falling out or being removed. The conveyor belts (3) can be heated or cooled in such a way that the melting process occurs both between and directly by means of the conveyor belts (3) and the cooling process for the manufactured brush parts also occurs both between and directly by means of said conveyor belts (3).
