Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method of producing a floating facility equipped with a natural gas liquefaction apparatus, the method enabling a decrease in cost and reduction in construction period. [Solution] A natural gas liquefaction apparatus includes at least a cold end part for liquefying natural gas. A method of producing a floating facility equipped with the natural gas liquefaction apparatus includes a step of installing a treatment device constituting the natural gas liquefaction apparatus on a base, and subsequently a step of suspending the base, transporting the base to a floating unit located in the ocean, and installing the base thereon. The step of transporting the base and installing the base on the floating unit includes a step of transporting, to the floating unit together with the base, a reinforcing member for preventing deformation of the base due to a load applied to the base when suspending the base.
