METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLUORINE-CONTAINING UNSATURATED SULFONYL FLUORIDE

A method for producing a fluorine-containing unsaturated sulfonyl fluoride represented by the chemical formula: R_fSO₂F (wherein R_f is as defined below) is characterized in that a fluorine-containing unsaturated sulfonyl chloride represented by the chemical formula: R_fSO₂Cl (wherein R_f is a fluorine-containing hydrocarbon group having at least one unsaturated bond and may contain at least one element selected from oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur) is reacted with at least one fluorinating agent selected from alkylamine hydrofluoride, pyridine hydrofluoride and polyvinyl pyridine hydrofluoride. By this method, a fluorine-containing sulfonyl fluoride having an unsaturated bond can be commercially advantageously produced at low cost. Furthermore, this method enables to simply produce the fluorine-containing unsaturated sulfonyl fluoride with high selectivity and high yield.
