Abstract:
A method for producing a full-face wheel (1) for an automobile, in which an annular joint groove (25) is formed previously in the rear surface of a wheel disc (2), an inside inclining end face (13) is formed previously at a joint circumferential end (11) of a wheel rim (3), the joint circumferential end (11) is seated on the bottom face (27) of the annular joint groove (25) to produce a welding heat confining circumferential region (18) between an inside groove wall (26) and the inside inclining end face (13), and then the annular joint groove (25) and the joint circumferential end (11) are welded. According to this producing method, a welded part (12) where welding sufficiently penetrates up to the inside of the joint circumferential end (11) can be formed, and as a result, the full-face wheel (1) for an automobile can exhibit high durability.
