Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a functional film by which a functional film preferably achieving the intended function and having a superior optical property, can be stably produced. In the production of a functional film which comprises alternately formed organic layers and inorganic layers and in which the uppermost film is an organic layer, the organic layer defining the uppermost layer is formed to have a thickness of 30 to 300 nm, using a coating material containing a surfactant so that the surfactant content is 0.01 to 10 % by weight in the organic layer.
