Abstract:
Provided are a method for producing a gelatin structure that forms a three-dimensional structure having a hollow portion using gelatin as a material, and a gelatin structure production system. A liquid obtained by melting a thermoplastic biocompatible material that is solid at normal temperature and has water solubility is discharged from a nozzle portion (18), the biocompatible material is stacked on a liquid landing surface (12A) of a substrate (12), and a biocompatible material structure of a three-dimensional structure is formed. The surface of the biocompatible material structure is coated by a coating film (24) containing gelatin, gelatin (30) is deposited around the biocompatible material structure to form a gelatin structure (32), the gelatin structure is shaped, and the form of the biocompatible material structure is transferred to the inside of the gelatin structure by dissolving the biocompatible material structure. A first biocompatible material or a third biocompatible in which a first biocompatible material is mixed with a second biocompatible material is used in biocompatible material structure formation.
