Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for producing a geopolymer composition that has a long pot life before use and can be cured within a short time after use. [Solution] Provided is a method for producing a geopolymer composition, the method comprising a step for mixing an active filler containing amorphous aluminum silicate as a main component with a first alkali solution to prepare a preparatory composition and a step for mixing the preparatory composition with a second alkali solution before the ejection of the preparatory composition onto a target site of the application, in which the first alkali solution is an aqueous solution containing one or more substances selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal silicate, an alkali metal hydroxide and soluble silica in such a manner that an alkali metal and a silica component are contained, the second alkali solution is an aqueous solution of an alkali metal silicate and/or an alkali metal hydroxide, and the ratio of the number of moles of silica to the number of moles of a component corresponding to an alkali metal oxide in the second alkali solution is smaller than that in the first alkali solution.
