Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing glass flakes having excellent slidability. The method is intended for producing glass flakes with rounded corners at the edges, and comprises a step wherein a device capable of applying a high-speed impact to glass flakes is used in order to apply an impact and thereby simultaneously crush the glass flakes and abrade the edges thereof. The device capable of applying a high-speed impact to the glass flakes is preferably a jet mill or a pulverizer.
