Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method wherein a basic catalyst or a metal component is not used when a glycerol carbonate acrylate compound is produced by reacting a glycerol carbonate and a vinyl acrylate compound with each other. The present invention relates to a method for producing a glycerol carbonate acrylate compound represented by formula (III), which is characterized by reacting a glycerol carbonate represented by formula (I) and a vinyl acrylate compound represented by formula (II) with each other in the presence of a lipase.
