Abstract:

A method for producing GL, which is provided with: step (1) wherein a GAO composition, which preferably contains a high-boiling-point organic solvent or a solubilizing agent, is supplied into a reaction container and heated to a temperature at which a depolymerization reaction of GAO occurs; step (2) wherein the heating is continued so as to maintain the depolymerization reaction of GAO, thereby producing GL; step (3) wherein GL is distilled out of the reaction container; step (4) wherein the distillate is introduced into a rectifier and is rectified by means of gas-liquid countercurrent contact; and step (5) wherein GL is recovered. A method for purifying crude GL, which is provided with: step (i) wherein a crude GL composition, which preferably contains a high-boiling-point organic solvent or a solubilizing agent, is supplied into a reaction container and heated, so that GL is distilled; step (ii) wherein the distillate is introduced into a rectifier and is rectified by means of gas-liquid countercurrent contact; and step (iii) wherein GL is recovered. A GL producing apparatus and a crude GL purifying apparatus, each of which is provided with a reaction container and a rectifier.
