Abstract:
Proposed is a method for stably producing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet having excellent magnetic properties by effectively purifying inhibitors. This method for producing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet uses a steel slab containing a predetermined amount of at least one among Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, and Ta, and comprises applying, on the surface of a steel sheet, an annealing separating agent, obtained by adding 1-10 parts by mass of a metallic compound with respect to 100 parts by mass of MgO, such that the ratio of particles of the metallic compound having a particle size of 1 μm or more becomes 0.0010 particles/ μm2 or less in the surface of the steel sheet.
