Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet, which exhibits excellent magnetic properties compared to the prior art, by highly controlling the texture of a primary recrystallized sheet while proactively using an inhibitor. The method for producing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet involves: slab heating a steel slab to a temperature that is greater than a γ phase precipitation temperature and is at most 1380°C; carrying out rough rolling including at least 2 passes of rolling at an introduced sheet thickness true strain εt of at least 0.50 at a temperature that is at least (temperature at which γ phase fraction is greatest-20°C); setting the rolling finish temperature to be at least 900°C and carrying out final rolling to create a heat rolled sheet; within 2 seconds after finishing the final rolling, carrying out at least 1 second of cooling on the heat-rolled sheet at a cooling rate of at least 70°C/s; winding the sheet at a winding temperature of at most 600°C, and when the recrystallization ratio of a central layer in the sheet thickness of the wound heat-rolled sheet is set to be Y (%), carrying out heat-rolled sheet annealing that soaks the sheet at a soaking temperature of at least 1000°C and at most (1150-2.5Y)°C;
and then carrying out cold-rolling, primary recrystallization annealing, and secondary recrystallization annealing.
